Duane Border Design is pleased to announce the St. Monica Hilton Schoolyard won a Merit Award for Institutional Design from the Southern California Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects!

The 2014 Quality of Life Design Awards ceremony was held on October 23, bringing together landscape architects from throughout Southern California to celebrate the role of landscape architecture in our communities. The culmination of the evening was the presentation of the best and brightest design, planning, communications and student projects completed over the past two years.

The number of submissions for jury review in 2014 was the largest ever received by the chapter, with many of the region’s top design and planning firms participating.

Duane Border Design was fortunate to have been recognized for outstanding work at the St. Monica Hilton Schoolyard and would like to thank the Hilton Foundation, St. Monica Parish and Schools administrations, and design and construction teams for their support and collaboration in creating an environment that re-imagined the St. Monica Parish campus.

Thank you.
